This is just a spectacular wash in the green , without any preconception . Of course , it is always in the perfect place , and always so meaningful . And also as a bonus , it is beautiful .

Brother Vincent . Details 2005		Painting in 'Mission painting no1 'The white you see is the canvas ,not white paint.The blue is applied very rapidly with a lightly loaded roller and then sculpted out.That beginning of a painting is its end as well .Most of the time these are the best works and surge as a reward . This is a big blessing for my Brother . He deserves it .
Carnaval . Detail . 2004		The painting is in Mission painting 2 .The image is an accumulation of many layers , laid on with a roller .So this is an accumulation of gross spots .No drawing , no plans .The paint is thrown on a newspaper then collected with the roller then applied .That is why you get so many vibrations .See how the face disappears when you blow up the picture .
A hell of a good Man . Detail 1993		The painting is in ' from B to Y no 1 '.Long ago i used to work all night and sleep like a sailor .In these passionate times , i loved to throw paint , often while screaming and listening to hard music .Amazingly , it is always in the right places .So take some paint from the pot , Throw it while jumping and then look at it leaks .
The great spiritual war . Detail 2003		The painting is in 'from B to Y no3 ' This work is an hommage to Magritte .He came out the blue in a most surrealiste and meaningful place .First you put some paint ( no drawing or ideas involved ), then you wait a few minutes that it half dries and you wash with a sponge and water . Voila .When you blow up the picture you ll see clearly the non involvement .

Detail 2002		The painting is in 'from B to Y no3 'Another example of wash, much relevant to the Curacao culture ,as you can see among other things ,a black and a white man breathing by the same nose and kissing by the same mouth .Times of forgivenness ,at the Spirit level .

Detail . 2003		The painting is in ' mission paintings no1 ' .This start with a gross layer of grayish blue applied with a big brush to paint walls .then you recognise what is happening and you scuplt it out . Once you see it you cant forget it and again it is very meaningful .When you blow up the picture you ll see the gross marks of the brush .
OM . Detail 2004		The painting is in ' mission paintings no 1 ' This is when you have developped confidence .I mask the surroundings of the center with paper . I then do my work with rollers like explained before and every leftover of paint on the floor newspaper , i splash directly in the center . In this particular case 2 extras paper were stuck at the beginning and removed further on.It just happened
Van Gogh s Hat . Detail 2002		Painting is in 'from B to Y no3'.This is decalcomania well known from the surrealistes .I usually work on 3 paintings together and one feed the others .You paint on one ,then pick up the wet paint with a newspaper and apply it to the one next . No control at all .Then you sculpt it out .
Mother Child and Donkey. Detail 2002		Painting in 'from B to Y no3 ' All the white you see is the canvas , not white paint .That means that the roller brought just a couple of paint spots .This is just a beginning of a work that s already finished .And so much bliss in that face .
Blue understanding.Detail 1997		Painting in ' From B to Y no3 'I got aware of this one many years after it was done .The back ground is painted with a hairy roller in one layer only .Look at these blissfull black faces .Warriors at peace .

East and West . Detail 2005		Put some white and some blue .Then i cover with news paper and wet it , then wait 15 mn . Take the paper away and wash a bit of paint . Et voila le travail .See the painting in mission paintings no 2 .
